About Me
Dog Mom. Animal Advocate. Coastal Portrait Artist.
Animals have always made sense to me in a way people sometimes didn't. From the time I was a kid, they just — got me. And I got them.
What I do today extends from that same compassion. And photography is how I share the love I see between people and the animals they love — so they have something to look back on long after the moment is gone.
“The one thing that really drew me to Keala's page was 'Don't wait for a life event.' My dog is 16 and couldn't move like he used to. We did the photoshoot nine months before he turned 16 — when he could still run. It was the most perfect day, but that wasn't just by chance.
Keala researches locations, tides, sunrise and sunset, how busy a spot will be at certain hours. She does all of that work for you so you just show up and play with your dog. She was right there with us — laughing, getting in the sand, soaked by waves and not caring for a second. She was 100% there.
