About Me

Dog Mom. Animal Advocate. Coastal Portrait Artist.

Animals have always made sense to me in a way people sometimes didn't. From the time I was a kid, they just — got me. And I got them.

I remember sitting outside in a rainstorm with a cat that wasn't even mine — just because she'd been left out in the wet and someone needed to stay with her. I was that person then. I'm still that person now.

What I do today is really just an extension of that. I show up, I get quiet, and I watch for the moment when two living things — a dog and their human, two people, whoever — forget I'm there. That's the shot. That's always been the shot.

It just took me a while to realize a camera was the best way to share what I see.
